Boring and not very scary. Most of these stories I don't believe and I think the author's opinions on what constitutes possession in some cases could be harmful to someone who is actually mentally ill. Don't get me wrong.... I believe in the supernatural and love to read books about the subject -but- there are fun and/or interesting reads and there is fail and this falls into the latter category.

If you want to be entertained, check out some books from the Warrens. I don't always believe them either but at least they know how to hold your attention and make a book fun.

If you're looking for something truly scary, and chill-inducing, this is the book. However, I'm a little bit nervous of how the content affects the mind (or soul). Since reading it, my boyfriend says I've been having night terrors; my feet running, sweating, jerking around, and groaning. I've also felt extremely paranoid, and that I'm not alone when I should be. So I don't know, maybe I'm crazy... anyway. Definitely captivating .
Very informative. Well written and easy to read. A good overview. I would recommend this book as a good starting point.
Personally, I enjoy fiction in general and ghost stories in particular. Ms Young has done a wonderful job of collecting vague stories from someone who knew someone who had a cousin who lived across the street from someone who claimed to have seen a ghost.
Many grammar errors and short stories. Somewhat interesting though on the the writers thought and theories. I want more depth.
Stephen Young has done an excellent job of compiling true stories of demonic possession written through the ages and from all over the world. I recommend this book to all Christians and to anyone thinking about dabbling in this incredibly dangerous realm. Do not open that door--not even a crack! Eternity is forever. Spend it with Jesus.
I found this book very intriguing. Since he was reporting on actual undocumented events, it left me realizing that there is more out there than what we see on a regular basis. I would recommend this to people interested in spiritual matters and Christians interested in spiritual warfare.
This was an entertaining read. I can't help but wonder how much of it is true. I had to shake my head on the last chapter when the writer began discussing "super soldiers" of Satan. I have to believe that there is far more good in this world than evil. I believe that in the end good will triumph over evil.
I do have to say that near death descriptions of hell were disturbing ----- true or not.
